About Fika

fee-ka • noun or verb
A moment of quality time to savor with oneself or others

Elite Development Northwest invites you to relax and unwind in Fika. Nestled in Yamhill County wine country, this single-level home boasts sweeping views of mountains and valleys out each of its windows. We partnered with interior designer Shannon Ponciano of House of Ponce and home designer Fowler Home Design to create a Scandinavian design-inspired space featuring a minimal, clean approach that combines functionality with beauty. Its focus is on simple lines and light spaces to avoid clutter and reduce maintenance. Find thoughtfully curated spaces to relax, unwind and enjoy the peaceful nature that surrounds this home.

We used organic and natural materials to reflect the Scandinavian relationship to nature. Our goal was to use colors that are neutral and monochromatic – bright, warm whites with black and gray – with pops of natural wood tones added as accents. Modern light fixtures offer sophisticated details and warmth throughout the space. Beautifully designed natural oak acoustic wood slat walls and ceiling paneling add an organic, yet modern touch. Concrete Concepts PDX created timeless, durable concrete fabricated fireplaces to enhance the relaxing nature of the home. High-end Gagganeu appliances fit within the minimalist style while also providing the efficiency and performance of a professional kitchen. Equally stylish and functional, Euroline ThermoPlus™ windows use high-performance hybrid materials to create custom configured, energy efficient windows.

Take the time to catch your breath and connect to the nature that surrounds in the outdoor living space complete with a sunken fire pit area. Enjoy the expansive wine country views with friends while cooking in the outdoor kitchen created by Sunset Outdoor Living.

The clean but warm theme, alongside the calming nature of a large, light-filled space without any clutter, is partly why Scandinavian design is so popular. This sort of Nordic minimalism found in Fika allows you to invite a cozy calmness into their home without creating a space that is uninviting or cold. The simplicity of this home coupled with high end modern amenities and finishes make it an ELITE home anyone can relax in.
