August 4 - A Summer Block Party – A Preview of the NW Natural Street of Dreams

The annual Kick-off to the NW Natural Street of Dreams is ramping up for another great year. This summer party attire charity event will take place August 4 from 6-10 p.m. at Brentwood Estates in Tigard, OR. Guests will spend the evening under the stars and be among the first to stroll through the beautiful homes that make up the 2011 NW Natural Street of Dreams.

The warm breezes of summer will wash over the night with a back drop of live jazz music from recent Grammy nominee Patrick Lamb. Guests will be greeted with a glass of champagne at the entrance of the event followed by stations of food and wine as they wander from home to home.

The Summer Block Party will benefit the Amy Roloff Charity Foundation which has a mission of assisting children including youth at risk, people with disabilities, single parents and families. The Foundation supports local non-profits such as Bridge Meadows, Providence Child Center, the Home Builders Foundation and the Oregon Food Bank.

An event focused on bringing the neighborhood to the NW Natural Street of Dreams.  Bikers, walkers and BTA members will receive a $2 discount on their tickets.  Activities will include cycling, kid’s games and vendors.
 

August 21 – High Performance Living  11am-4pm

Family and homeowner day focused on making your home perform better and learn what makes the NW Natural Street of Dreams homes high performers.
 

August 25 – KINK Street Party  6pm-8pm

September 5 – Closing Day

The Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland (HBA) announced the decision to extend the 2011 NW Natural Street of Dreams, presented by Banner Bank/Community Financial Corporation, for an additional encore week.  Show goers have now through Monday, September 5, to see the latest trends in building, design and energy efficiency at the NW Natural Street of Dreams on the top of Bull Mountain in Tigard, OR.
