Gérard Philippon opened Versailles in the Pearl in 2002 bringing to the Northwest his love of France, his birth country.

Everything in the store at 9th and Hoyt portrays this, from beautiful, limited edition hand crafted furniture, tapestries, lighting fixtures to French fabrics, statuary and pottery.
Versailles in the Pearl is a complete source destination for your remodel or your new construction.

Our expert staff will help you make a selection or our store designers Robert LaHatt and Laya Anoushirawani will come to your home and make the process stress free.

We have a great sewing and upholstery staff as well and can create curtains build a new sofa or recover that special chair your parents passed down to you.

French style is very diverse and from “French Country” to more classic to 1930’s Modern we do it all, incorporating the new and the old world, the colorful to the wood tones.
Our unique line of fabrics, Toiles de Mayenne, is imported directly from the mill in the Loire Valley, France, which has been in the same family since 1806.

My personal favorite approach in design is mixing eras.
A typical Parisian apartment is a mix of furniture styles from different parts of the world and different periods in history; we will be using that mix when we decorate that beautiful penthouse at the Waterfront Pearl.
