What is a Rotary Club?
The first Rotary Club was organized in Chicago, Illinois by Paul P. Harris, a lawyer on February 23, 1905. The name "Rotary" was chosen because the Club met in rotation at each member's place of business. Over the years, the Rotary idea of friendship, fellowship and service to others has spread to six continents. Kruse Way Rotary was chartered on May 26, 1987 and has grown to 50 members. It is comprised of professionals, executives and small business owners from the various communities surrounding the juncture of I-5 and Highway 217. The Kruse Way Rotary Foundation was organized to fund scientific, educational and charitable programs in the community. Kruse Way Rotary also supports the Rotary International Foundation, which provides worldwide humanitarian grants to needy people, worthy projects and international exchanges. Visit Website
